The Occasion Project was founded on a simple but powerful belief: that celebration is not a luxury, it’s a human right.

Too many people in our community move through life without anyone pausing to say: you matter. Children who have never had a birthday party. Parents who pour everything into survival and have nothing left for themselves. Survivors who are starting over with courage no one has recognized.

We exist to change that—one celebration at a time.

LAUREN LOTT

Lauren is a Dallas native with a lifelong passion for gift giving and a deep conviction that the people who need celebration the most are often the ones who receive it the least. The Occasion Project is her commitment to changing that - starting with the gifts and experiences that remind people they are seen, valued, and not forgotten.
